Refunds and cancellations.
The short version: you can always hand your spot to another player for free. Refunds are available until Saturday, November 14, 2026, less a $5 cancellation fee — worked out from the whole amount you paid. The $10 early-bird fee comes back on top of that if you cancel in time, and always if we cancel or your division doesn't run.
Can't make it? Hand your spot to someone
You can transfer your registration to another player for free, at any time before the event — before or after Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Email us, or message us on Facebook, with their name and email address. A transfer moves everything you registered for — if you entered more than one division, they take all of them, and they need to be eligible for each one.
Refunds up to Saturday, November 14, 2026
Ask by 11:59 PM Pacific on Saturday, November 14, 2026 and we refund what you paid for your registration, less a $5 cancellation fee.
The $10 early-bird reservation fee comes back too, on top of that — by Interac e-Transfer, because that is how it was paid.
After that, no refunds
After Saturday, November 14, 2026 the courts, the shirts and the equipment are paid for, so registrations aren't refunded. You can still transfer your spot to another player for free.
If your division doesn't run, or we can't find you a partner
We'll offer to move you to another division you're eligible for. If you'd rather not move, what comes back depends on whether it was your only one.
There is no deadline on this one. A division that doesn't run is our doing, not yours, so it doesn't matter when it happens — before or after Saturday, November 14, 2026, what comes back is the same, and no cancellation fee is taken out of it.
If it was the only division you entered: we refund what you paid in full, with no cancellation fee, and your $10 early-bird fee comes back with it — that one's on us, not you.
If you entered more than one and you're staying in the others: we take that division off your registration and refund what that division added to your fee — not the whole amount you paid, because you're still playing the others. Your $10 early-bird fee stays where it is, against the registration you still have.
If you entered more than one and you'd rather not play the rest either: we take you off all of them and refund what you paid in full, with no cancellation fee — the same as if it had been your only division. Your $10 early-bird fee comes back with it.
Changed your mind about one of two? That is a withdrawal, not a division that isn't running, so the deadline is back on and the ordinary rule above applies: on or before Saturday, November 14, 2026 we take that division off and refund what it added, less the $5 cancellation fee. After that date there is no refund — but a transfer is always free, and we can move you to another division instead. message us on Facebook.
The $10 early-bird reservation fee
It holds one slot in your name and takes $10 off your registration fee, and it comes back if you cancel on or before Saturday, November 14, 2026, on top of your registration refund. After that date it stays with us if you change your mind — holding your slot is what it paid for.
You do get it back if PPB cancels the Legends Cup, or if your division doesn't run and you'd rather not move — whenever that happens, with no deadline. It comes back by Interac e-Transfer, the way you sent it; allow up to 7 days.
If PPB cancels the Legends Cup
Everyone is refunded in full: your registration and your $10 reservation fee, with no cancellation fee.
Do you get the card processing back?
Yes. A refund is worked out from the whole amount you actually paid — card processing and all — not from part of it. Inside the window the only thing kept back is the $5 cancellation fee.
So if you cancel in time you get everything you paid for your registration except the $5 cancellation fee — and if you paid the $10 early-bird reservation fee, that comes back too, on top. It reaches you by Interac e-Transfer, because that is how it was paid.
After Saturday, November 14, 2026 the $10 stays with us if you change your mind — holding your slot is what it paid for. It still comes back, whenever it happens and with no cutoff, if we cancel the event or your division doesn't run and you'd rather not move.
How refunds are sent
The same way you paid. An Interac e-Transfer is refunded by e-Transfer. A card payment goes back to the same card.
We send an approved refund within 7 days. A card refund can take a further 5 to 10 business days to show on your statement — that part is your bank, not us.
Paid twice by accident?
The extra payment is refunded, less the payment processing fee our card processor keeps.
Something wrong with a payment?
Email us, or message us on Facebook, before disputing a charge with your bank. We can almost always sort it out directly, and it's much faster for you.
